A Couple of things have gone on since The Blog was last updated. There was a New Years dance .. not the best attended but great fun .. you missed your selves... we need more support!
Unfortunately I couldn't make the Bingo Tea in January ... so cant comment... does somebody else who was there what to add something?
What I did notice is that somebody is taking care of the inside of the hall ... bit of plasterboard here, insulation there and some paint too.
The floor was looking good - who found the polish and polisher?
I have heard on the grapevine that its too slippy for some of the hall customers... Playgroup, dancing and keep fit ... idle gossip or truth ... dunno ... want to tell me?
The recent storms managed to dislodge some more slates from the north side of the roof ...
Finally, the sub group that is looking into a replacement have to raise the profile of what they are doing ... I will update here when I get more info.

Yes the village hall is far far to slippy and I believe it was to be sorted. If thats it sorted then sorry but it has not worked. Still very bad.

The Hall floor is being scrubbed on a regular basis, to reduce the slippyness. If anybody has other suggestions as to how the floor remains protected and becomes less slippy, then we would all like to know!
